The following trainings support Youth & Family Ministry.
Creating the Vision
This training is for churches that would like to revamp their current programs or are ready to create their first programs. Bring your visionary team and let’s create together. Topics to explore include using the Unity Youth Ministry Assessment to explore where the programs are currently; exploring where you want to go and creating a new vision; exploring what is needed to bring the vision into manifestation; and exploring implementation of the vision.

The Conscious Classroom
From the moment your team members step into the training they will have an opportunity to experience a youth program designed to empower all who participate. We will begin with exploring the components needed to create an environment where our children & teens feel safe and nurtured. We will then move on to exploring how to create a Sunday morning experience that encourages learning and self development.
Topics include:
The Enhanced Classroom Environment
Setting up classroom stations that encourage self-responsibility, compassion and belonging.
The Sacred Circle
Exploring community building. Brain games, prayer & centering, music and more.
Living Curriculum
Exploring storytelling & drama; Active Learning; and the Creative Experience
The Enlivened Lesson Plan
This training explores the components necessary to create and present lessons that are age appropriate. It includes such topics as: Ages & Stages of Development; Multiple Intelligence, Active Learning and Living Curriculum.
This training will focus on exploring what goes into creating a lesson plan for our Youth Ministry programs and how to present the lesson effectively to various age groups.
The training will be divided into 4 parts:
1. Exploring Ages & Stages of Development
2. The Beginning Experience
3. The Story
4. The Creative Experience
Information on each topic will be presented and then the participants will work in groups to create their lesson plan for the various age groups. The plans will be presented at the end of the training.
Thriving Youth Ministry
This training is for your leadership teams which include: Youth Directors & director’s assistants, Ministers, Board of Trustee Members, Youth Ministry Leadership Team Members, Uniteen Leaders & YOU Sponsors. (This is NOT a teacher training.)
The training will focus on five main areas
1. Vision
2. The Story You Tell
3. Team Building
4. Foundations & Policies
5. Leadership Skill Building
The intention is to train, support and encourage the Youth Ministry leadership so that we are creating youth and family ministry programs that not only thrive but are also sustainable through any leadership change. On-going leadership support can also be set up based on the needs of the group.
Multigenerational Ministry
This training will focus on exploring what it takes to create & maintain a thriving Youth and Family Ministry program within your greater Unity community. It is about creating a ministry that works for all.
The training will offer the following topics
1. Adult/Young People Community Building
2. Asset Development
3. Creativity and Imagination Enhancement
4. The Importance of Story & the Questioning Process
5. The Creative Experience
Teachings of Jesus for Teens - $50.00 Building Community - $30 Lumindorff (Using Harry Potter DVs) - $25. 00
